Aka poplars (Cottonwood trees) are native to North America that provide shade and are very fast-growing trees. Moreover, some species of cottonwood trees can grow up to 100 feet in height. Besides their benefits and characteristics, they can cause cottonwood allergy in some people. However, allergy to cottonwood is very rare, but it does not mean it can not occur.
Symptoms Of cottonwood allergy
Any disease can be recognized by its specific symptoms. Same as cottonwood the first symptom of cottonwood allergy can occur in the form of itching along with the redness of the body. The other common symptoms of cottonwood allergy are:
- Itching in the nose, throat, and mouth
- Watery eyes and runny nose
- Fever
- Rash
- Vomiting
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Redness of the skin in some areas or throughout the body
Some other symptoms are:
- Body fatigue
- Irritability
- Drowsiness
- Loss of concentration
